Meet your Doula
My name is Mariana Doiron. I am a WA State Doula, WA State Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Childbirth Educator, and Infant Massage Educator. Above all, I am a mother to two wonderful sons.
Sacred Fig Vision:
At the age of 14, I attended my first delivery and was in awe of the whole experience. After years working in healthcare and hospitality, I entered alternative medicine as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Realizing my passion was working with prenatal and postnatal clients, I began specializing in antenatal massage. After having children of my own and listening to the stories of my clients, friends and family, I chose to pursue Doula work.
My vision with Sacred Fig is to honor the birthing mother in our modern age. To offer detailed care for both mind and body. Whether you choose to birth at home, a birth-center or hospital, I will be there to support you and your family.
As your birth doula, I will provide you with evidence-based information and trusted emotional support throughout your journey. I will use hands-on techniques and customize all Massage Therapy sessions to ease any discomfort and stress. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, safe and confident in your personal health decisions and wishes. I look forward to bringing you and your family quality care while you flow through these transitions, whether it be your first or fourth baby.
